AE Fitness- Empty Calories pt 1

Hello friends,

When trying to lose weight the easiest way to do that is to eat less and move more. A lot of times with out even realizing it.... you consume half of you allotted calories for the day by...
 Drinking and Snacking!!!


And since its Thirsty Thursday I want to share a secret with you.... Beer, alcohol and wine have a lot of calories in them. Soooo here's how to beat the system:

  • Stay away from mixed drinks!! They are full of sugar and syrups and usually more than one alcohol
    • If you are going to have a mixed drink go for an alcohol mixed with a diet soda or club soda or tonic water
  • The term beer belly is REAL. 
    • If you must indulge... Go with a light beer.
  • Wine has the least amount of calories as compared to Liquor and Beer :-)
    • To save on calories... make a spritzer!
      • Half wine and half club soda/seltzer/diet sprite or 7-Up
        • You can have two drinks and it have the same amount of calories as one!!
